Christmas at Disney's Hilton Head property then a 4 day stint at WDW. Any suggestions for making the most out of Christmas away from home at the HH property? We are at WDW the weekend after Christmas, any suggestions on dealing with the crowds?

    HI Karen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

You will be visiting Walt Disney World when the parks and resorts are at their most beautiful as the world will be decorated for the end of year holidays!  Definitely take some time to explore some of the Disney Deluxe Resorts and their holiday decorations, especially the Wilderness Lodge, the Grand Floridian, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

With respect to crowds, you are definitely going during a very busy time at Walt Disney World.  I suggest using a good touring plan that maximizes the number of attractions you can experience while minimizing your wait in lines.  My favorite touring plans come from the independent website  That is the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts crowd levels and for their touring plans.  Their touring plans are based on years of collected data and a lot of math.  I'm a huge fan of their work.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
