When do the Christmas decorations usually end? The Marathon weekend seems early in 2017, 1/4 - 1/8, which is still part of Christmas break in Miami and so totally awesome! Really hoping the parks/hotels will still be decorated.

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Marathon weekend is very soon after the holidays.  Christmas at Disney World is one of my favorite things in the world!

The holiday decorations will begin coming down right after New Year's Day. The un-decorating begins on January 2nd and does go pretty quickly. There will be some remnants of Christmas during marathon weekend, but if you want to see them in all their glory you should get there before New Year's Day!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
