When do christmas decorations get taken down?

    Hi Viviana,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question about Holiday Decorations at Walt Disney World Resort.  It looks like you are starting the new year off in the most magical way possible, I am sure you are going to make some wonderful memories as you celebrate 2022!

My family and I love the Christmas decorations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, but we are also very invested in the process that seemingly happens over night when the decorations "disappear".  In my experience, decorations tend to start disappearing the first week of January, and Walt Disney World Resort is typically back to normal by the second week of January.

Depending on how long you are planning on visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you should be able to catch the tail end of the holiday decorations, and you may be there to experience the beginning of Epcot International Festival of the Arts.  This event begins on January 14, 2022 and is one of my favorite experiences at Epcot!  I just love all of the visual arts experiences and the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, we could spend days just enjoying all of the amazing offerings!

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort next year, Viviana.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
