When are the Christmas decorations up in the Magic Kingdom? Do they start right after Halloween?

    Hi Debra,

It's amazing how quickly Magic Kingdom is transformed from fall after the final Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to the holidays for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party a few days later. Have you ever seen a time lapse video of the process? It's awesome.

This year the final Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on November 1, and the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on November 9, so the decorations will appear that week. Over then next two or three weeks, the other parks and the resorts will begin decking out with all the decorations in place by Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Debra. Please let us know if you have any other questions about visiting Walt Disney World during the holiday season. We're always here to help. Enjoy!
