When do the Christmas Decorations go up/come down at the Magic Kingdom and Resort Hotels?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Gloria!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to have the most TIGGER-ific time EVER!

I have to start off by saying you will be visiting the most MAGICAL place on earth at the PERFECT time of the year...the Christmas holiday season! WOO HOO! Mickey Mouse and his pals go ALL-OUT showing off their incredible decorating skills, and they definitely know how to plan fun and festive activities all throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! OH, and be looking for more information next month on how you can purchase tickets to Disney Very Merriest After Hours. I am SOOOO excited about this special event!

What a great question! Historically, Mickey Mouse begins to decorate for the Christmas holiday season around November 2, and he is finished transforming the Walt Disney World into a "Winter Wonderland" around November 6. While these dates can change at any time, this will definitely give you a good timeframe.

I hope this information is helpful to you as you plan for your vacation. If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are just a question away!

    Have a VERY MERRY DAY!
