Hi, Donna!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by with your great question. I just love exploring the
Disneyland Resort during the holiday season. There’s something extra special about visiting the Happiest Place on Earth when it’s also the merriest place! The theme parks will have lots of holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment for you to enjoy. At Disneyland Park, highlights will include Haunted Mansion Holiday, “it’s a small world” Holiday,
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, the “Holiday Time at Disneyland” Tour, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, “snow” falls in the skies above portions of the park, a wonderful seasonal treat I bet your family will love! At Disney California Adventure Park, don’t miss
Disney Festival of Holidays and the special holiday decor and attractions in Cars Land.
In my experience, holiday decor is gradually added at night when the theme parks are closed and is complete by the second week of November (with the exception of Haunted Mansion Holiday, which debuts in late September and operates through the Christmas season until early January.) So, if you plan to visit the second weekend in November or later, you’ll be able to experience all the seasonal magic of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.
I hope this helps, Donna. Please ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
