When do the Christmas decorations come down? I would assume Jan 7 since Christmas ends on Jan 6. I can't seem to find that information anywhere. I need a specific answer as I'm from Miami and I'm only driving up if they are still decorated.

    Hi Melanie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort
is definitely my favorite time to visit. The decorations are beautiful and add an extra layer of magic to everything.

I wish I could give you an exact schedule of decoration removal, but it is more of a gradual process. The lights on Cinderella Castle are usually up a bit longer than the rest, but the Cast Members begin the removal of decorations as early as January 2. The resort decorations go up gradually and also come down gradually. If you're looking for a specific resort schedule, you may have luck calling the resort directly to see if their Cast Members have been given insight to the schedule. You can find the Walt Disney World Phone Directory online.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
