When will Christmas decorations be up?

Hi Geraldine! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I simply adore the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort. Seeing the Christmas decorations in the theme parks, Disney Springs and the Disney Resort hotels takes the magic up to a whole new level! It's the best!

In my experience, the Christmas decorations begin making an appearance the first week in November. You will find them in Magic Kingdom Park first as they prepare for the special ticketed event, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, to begin on select nights around the second week of November.

The rest of the decorations go up in phases through the month of November. Last year, I visited the last week of November and the Christmas decorations and festivities were in full swing. From the gingerbread displays in the Disney Resort hotels to events like the Candlelight Processional in Epcot and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will find the Christmas spirit all around!

Enjoy planning your vacation for the holiday season, Geraldine! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
