when is Christmas decoration will be up and how long?

    HI Pakwipa,

Welcome to planDisney we are thrilled you dropped by with your question about Christmas Decorations at Walt Disney World Resort.  The holiday season is certainly the most magical time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I visit every year to take in the festive spirit of the season, I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year!

Christmas decorations begin to appear in the Theme Parks the first week of November followed by the resorts.  While the timing is never exact and can change at any time, I have found that all of the decorations are in place by mid-November.  After the holiday season, decorations tend to magically disappear toward the end of the first week of January with another year completely packed away by the end of the second week of January.

There is so much to experience at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, my family and I love to walk around World Showcase in Epcot and enjoy the different celebrations around the world.  We spend hours enjoying the snacks, stories and decorations from around the world, it is absolutely beautiful!

I hope you have a magical time this holiday season, Pakwipa.  If you have any other questions please feel free to come back to planDisney, we are always happy to help.
