Hi Julie,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!
The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are absolutely magical. From the extra decorations everywhere, the festive feeling that fills the air, it truly is a wonderful time of year to visit the Disney Parks, though it can be quite busy… which makes having a plan even more important.
It’s important to note that, although there is a Christmas Day Parade that you can see on television at home on Christmas Day, that parade is pre-taped, usually in late November or early December. The parade that you’ll see on Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom Park is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade (which you can usually only see at
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!), which is currently scheduled to make its way through the Park at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Christmas Day. The current schedule also says that you can also catch it at noon and 3:00 pm several times throughout the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Please make sure to check the
Park Hours in the days leading up to your visit to confirm these parade times, as they’re subject to change at any time.
I hope my answer helps you plan a wonderful Christmas vacation with your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
