Christmas Day in Disneyland Paris for tickets only - need advice please on buying tickets (are express tickets worth the huge extra cost?) and suggestions for first time visitors with a 9, 12, 14 and 15 year old. Planning to visit MK by train. Thank you :)

    Bonjour!

Welcome back to planDisney, Lorraine! Thank you for visiting us with your question today about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Paris. You plan to spend Christmas Day there, and I can think of no more magical way to spend the day - there will be so much to enjoy as part of Disney Enchanted Christmas! One of my highlights is meeting Jack Skellington dressed as Sandy Claws! This experience can only be booked on the day of your visit through the Disneyland Paris app. Reservations open at 9:45 am and 2:00 pm daily, and you must be in the park to book.

As you plan to visit for one day, the Jack Skellington virtual queue is a great way to maximise your time. Joining a virtual queue to meet a character has no cost at all. Now, is Disney Premier Access Ultimate worth it? In my opinion, if you are visiting for one day on what is potentially the busiest day of the year, there is great value in purchasing this add-on to your ticket. It will give you the best chance to experience all of the most popular attractions across Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Better yet, you do not need to book return times for each attraction. Instead, simply scan into the Premier Access line once at each eligible attraction at any time throughout the day.

Disneyland Paris features six Disney Hotels within walking distance from the parks, Disney Village, and the two Disney Parks. It will be impossible to experience everything on offer in one day. However, if you choose not to purchase Disney Premier Access Ultimate, there will still be so much to enjoy aside from the attractions, including Mickey and the Magician, Princess Aurora's Magical Wishes, Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade, Let's Sing Christmas, Disney Tales of Magic, and so much more! All times for entertainment on December 25th are available on the Disneyland Paris app now, so you can start planning your family adventure right away!

I hope this helps you with your decision as you plan your visit, and I wish you a Merry Christmas at the happiest place in Europe! If you have any more vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

See you on Main Street, Paris!
