    For Christmas 2021, is the Contemporary going to have a Catholic mass on Christmas Eve night?

    Hi Kyle!

    Walt Disney World is so festive during the holidays! The parks are adorned with zillions of twinkling lights, thousands of bright red poinsettias, and hundreds of brilliantly decorated Christmas trees. I adore the Mickey shaped wreaths that adorn the lampposts.

    Traditionally Disney's Contemporary Resort hosts a Catholic mass on Christmas Day, but no services were held last year. No announcement has been made yet about if Christmas services will return this year. Do check with the front desk of your resort once you arrive to see if mass is reinstated this year. If services are still on hiatus for the 2021 holiday season, there is a basilica near by, Mary, Queen of the Universe, which will be offering multiple services and a live stream on Christmas and Christmas Eve. The church is only a few miles away and would be an easy rideshare drive.
