At the christmas celebration can the kids take a picture with Santa?

Hi Amy!  I am not sure what you are meaning by the Christmas celebration but there are several locations at Walt Disney World where the kids can have their pictures taken with Santa.

Downtown Disney has a wonderful little Santa's house set up and the hours are from noon on weekends to about 10:00pm and then around 5:00pm to 10:00pm on week nights.  It is located next to the World of Disney store.  I will say that this location is very crowded and the lines move quite slow since many locals come with their children for the Santa picture. PhotoPass photographers are on hand to take pictures for you too.

In the Magic Kingdom you will find the Candy Cane spot next to Guest Services where Santa will have pictures taken with the children.  I am not sure of the hours and Santa will take many breaks through-out the day so be prepared and check on the times when you enter the park so you can plan it with your itinerary.

My favorite spot is in EPCOT as I have found this to be the least crowded location for Santa pictures.  Santa and Mrs. Claus are located next to the American Adventure pavilion in the World Showcase and have several time slots throughout the afternoon and evening when they are available. Again PhotoPass pictures are taken which is nice so the entire family can be included in a picture if you wish for that opportunity.
