Scott from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

For Christmas, I bought two, one park per day gift cards from Target for the Disneyland resort. On the back of the card, it says they are expired but last year everything was shut down. Are they still valid?

    Hey Scott!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The Disneyland resort has brought the Magic back to the theme parks! I had the pleasure of visiting on opening day and I had a splendid time! Enhanced health and safety measures are visible and enforced throughout the parks and you could feel the excitement. You know who else was excited? Mickey, Minnie and all of their friends were so excited to see everyone and you could find them at many different locations throughout the parks. You're going to want to get your camera ready and put it in selfie mode!

I’m sorry to hear that you were not able to use your tickets that you purchased for Christmas. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is my absolute favorite and I can't wait for this year! Most tickets that expired at the end of 2020 or early 2021 have been extended through December 16, 2021. Without actually seeing your tickets, it’s hard to know if yours have been extended.

You can call Ticket Services or try scanning them into the Disneyland Mobile App. Once they are scanned in, the expiration date will be updated if they were part of the ones that were extended. If they are expired, you can always apply the expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket and just pay the difference.

Well Scott, if you need help making a theme park reservation once you get your tickets squared away, just come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
