Hi Tracy,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. The holidays are my absolute favorite time at Walt Disney World Resort, there is nothing more magical than
Christmas at Disney! It looks like your visit to Walt Disney World Resort will allow you the enjoy both the Fall Decorations as well as the beginning of the Holiday Season too, how exciting.
Typically
Magic Kingdom Park transforms seemingly over night after the last Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to prepare for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party roughly a week later. I have found that the transformation at Magic Kingdom Park occurs the first week of November, and after Magic Kingdom Park, you the other Theme Parks and Resorts will switch to their Christmas décor within the following weeks. Please keep in mind that with the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, the timelines are subject to change and some seasonal offerings are may or may not be available.
One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is enjoy all of the incredible Christmas Trees at
Disney Springs on the Christmas Tree Trail. My daughter and I could spend hours admiring all of the different Themed Christmas trees the details are beautiful. In the past the trees were ready for visitors during the first week of November. We love wandering around with a cup of hot chocolate trying to decide on our favorite tree, it's impossible to choose!
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort this Christmas Season, Tracy. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
