Hi Chris, Seems preparing for a visit to WDW next Christmas is going to take a lot of time, and lots of questions! So my 1st questions is about the meal plans? I tend to lean towards fine dining and not the quick service locations. What are our thoughts?

    Hi Pamela!
I like how you think...food is a very important part of my Disney vacations, too. However, I do not want to spend every meal burning two hours of prime park-touring time, regardless of how amazing the food may be. Also, some guests worry that they may not be able to utilize all of the credits for every family member on their trip when using the Deluxe Dining Plan.
That said, I would probably split the difference on the meal plans and go with the regular, Quick Service Plan. This way, I am not having to make ADRs (Advance Dining Reservations) for each meal, but can make one or two Signature Dining reservations during my trip where I want my "fine dining" fix. Other days, you can use the Counter Service/Quick Service credits to get something much quicker to eat and get in some serious attraction time.
Of course, you can still always opt for the Deluxe Dining Plan if you have your heart set on exploring the vast fine dining options across the property. I just don't like spending the time.
I hope this helps a bit. Please let me know if I can clarify anything or answer any other questions for you. Bon Appetite!! :)
