Hi Chris! My original question needed some clarification. I would really like to do room+ passes for under $2000 (2500 my ceiling). Food doesn't necessarily have to be included. We just want the magical experience of being on Disney Property.

    Hi Nona!
Thanks for getting back to me. Let's see if we can make some magic happen here!
I'm still unsure of a couple of things like the time of year you plan to go (which impacts room rates) and if you are staying 5 nights or 4 nights. Your original question said 5 days but didn't specify nights. People count their vacation days differently, but in your case, we will need to know how many actual NIGHTS you will be sleeping there.
With a family of 5, you are limited in the types of accommodations you can choose as a lot of the resorts are priced based on a family of 4. That said, you have a few inexpensive options. The BEST option for your family would be the All Star Music Resort Family Suite. It can fir up to 6 comfortably and rates are around $300 per night this summer. I would recommend NOT including Friday or Saturday to your stay if at all possible, as it will add about $50 per night to the rate. Another option could be The Cabins of Fort Wilderness which would be like your own little house on the grounds of Fort Wilderness. They also come with kitchens so you could prepare meals and save lots of money.
These are the two best options I was able to find. AND, unfortunately, it does not include passes, so that will be a separate expense.
So, remember these tips...#1) Decide if it's 4 or 5 "sleeping nights" #2) avoid weekend nights if possible, #3) consider time of year for your trip. Busier times equate to higher room rates and #4) Cabins at Fort Wilderness will decrease food expense greatly.
I hope this is helpful enough to get you started in the right direction. Please let me know if I can help further. It is important to me that we plan the BEST vacation possible for you and your family!! :)
