    We have been chosen to test the bands in November. Will you still get a receipt when you use the bands when ordering food or buying merchandise? I like to keep track on everything that is being put on my room charge. Thanks!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have used a MagicBand on two visits now, and in both cases, I received a receipt with each purchase, just as I always did when I used my Key to the World Card to charge purchases to my room account.

    With every purchase (and, at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, there were a lot of purchases!), I simply tapped my MagicBand to the reader and entered my PIN number to complete the transaction. It was quick and easy.

    In addition to a receipt with each purchase, our final bill listed each purchase and the name of the family member who made it.

    The MagicBands are still in testing so all the processes are subject to change, but my guess is that receipts will remain a part of the purchases in some form.
