    If you had to chose, which would you go to and why? Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Hoop Dee Doo? Son will be 9

    I would opt for the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, Debra.  At nine, I think it will better line up with your son's maturity level.  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is great fun, especially for the youngest of children.  As they grow, though, the Hoop Dee Doo probably offers a show that a nine-year-old would find more entertaining; it's both hilarious and musically catchy.  Do keep in mind that while the show stars lively performers, characters do not make an appearance at the Hoop Dee Doo, so if your son is set on seeing Mickey or his friends the BBQ might be a better fit after all.  Good luck with your decision!
