    When choosing Magic Bands, some are out of stock - which is fine. My question is - what would happen if I choose one that is in stock currently, but stock runs out before our trip? I want to make sure we have one prior to arrival.

    Hi Carol!

    Sounds like you're "in the know" about the new upgradable MagicBands that are offered at a discount to guests who stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and you know how quickly stock changes.  In my experience , experience of friends and of fan sites I follow, when you order a specialty MagicBand, they ship very soon after you order them, which is not the case if you order the complimentary solid color MagicBands.  I have a trip scheduled in February and received a shipping notification a few days after I ordered them and received them in the mail the next week.

    It's a good idea to order the specialty MagicBands when you see the ones you want, but don't be too disappointed if they end up being out of stock.  I keep seeing new designs added each week that I want more than the one I already chose.  Luckily I have a couple more trips planned so I have more opportunities to add to my MagicBand collection.
