Hello! Which would you choose and why? Me, my daughter who will be 5.5, and my Stepdad. Nov 29-Dec 11 2016. POR Royal Room, Caribbean Beach, or Coronado Springs. I've been to CS for a business trip so I know about it. All 3 seem perfect! HELP!!

Hi Denise! You have asked a great question as choosing your Disney resort is important when trying to find the best suited to your needs.

I have stayed in all three and my favorite is Port Orleans. I love the atmosphere as it is quiet and peaceful and the rooms are well designed. You have the choice of either Riverside or French Quarter and both have their fans but I love Riverside. They have a wonderful food court and restaurant and the main pool is fun for the kids as well as the adults. Carriage rides are offered right outside the main building and I do recommend that for one of your down time activities. Another great perk is that you can take a boat to Disney Springs and enjoy some time there without dealing with the traffic as that location continues to expand and build, You can request to be close to the center of the resort or perhaps choose to reserve a princess room for your daughter to enjoy. The headboards will light up with sparkling pixie dust making her feel like royalty.

Coronado Springs is a very nice resort as well but not quite as centrally located. It is also a convention resort so you will have more of a business feel with the amenities. It is a bit spread out around the lake with the main pool located across from the main buildings. It is where you need to consider what you wish to be nearer to when requesting a room. The perks are that it offers restaurant and good dining options, a business center, and some spa facilities. It is also a walk to Blizzard Beach.

Since you have stayed at Caribbean Beach you know the set up for that resort. It is actually my least favorite as it gives me the feeling of being old and darker. But everyone has their top choice and it certainly works for many guests.

My vote is Port Orleans but it is a tough decision. Wherever you land for your home away from home will bring you the Disney Magic you are looking for. Enjoy!
