If we choose to get the single day non-park hopper passes...Can you enter in the morning, break in the afternoon then return on the same ticket? I've had the hopper in the past but I am taking my family for the first time and don't feel the need.

You most certainly can, Michelle.  My family has visited Walt Disney World both with and without the hopper option on our theme park tickets.  While I will say that it is a nice perk--especially to enjoy dinner at Epcot--the hopper isn't necessary to facilitate a magical vacation!  Without the park hopper pass, your family is welcome to visit any of the four major theme parks in the morning and leave for an afternoon siesta or dip in the pool.  When you're ready for more Disney action in the evening, simply return to the same theme park from whence you came and proceed through the gates.  A second day will not be charged against your tickets.  I hope that helps.  Have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
