If you had to choose between Sci-Fi or Beaches and Cream, which would you prefer? Already ate at Sci-Fi, but liked it. Looking for a lunch place on our HS day. 2 adults, no dining plan. Thanks!

Hi there Charlene and thanks so much for the question!

My family absolutely LOVES Beaches and Cream.  My daughter celebrated her 4th birthday there last year and because of that, it holds a special place in my heart!  We just can't get enough of the juicy and delicious burgers, yummy homemade chili, and to die for ice cream creations.  The location is great too...situated along the outskirts of the Beach Club's main pool area, Stormalong Bay with serene and relaxing views.

The theme is reminiscent of a 50's diner with apron-clad servers, retro booths and tables, and there's even an operational jukebox.  After your meal, if you're daring enough, order the guest favorite, The Kitchen Sink, for dessert...  this massive sweet ending in served in an actual "sink" filled with tons of ice cream and toppings and is accompanied by its own can of whip cream.  It even comes with a special presentation letting everyone know you've decided to take on "the sink."

Reservations are not accepted at Beaches and Cream, so it's better to avoid prime lunch and dinner rush times.  If you do experience a wait, that's OK, because you and your crew can pop into Lafferty Place, a lively arcade located right next door.
