If you would choose between the Port Orleans Resort, which one you think is better traveling 2 adults & 1 infant? The Riverside or French?

    Hi Francis,

Choosing a resort to stay in is one of the most important steps in the planning process. I'm happy to hear that you are considering either of the Port Orleans resorts. They happen to be my favorite within the moderate category.

Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is a bit smaller and not as spread out as Riverside. I love the colorful theming of the buildings and the pool. The upbeat jazzy music that can be heard around the resort adds a nice touch. If you would prefer not to walk as far to the main building or to the bus, this might be a great choice for you. I think the vibrant touches would be appealing to the little one, too. One thing to keep in mind is that there is not a table service at this resort. Although, it is only about a 10-15 minute walk over to Riverside to enjoy Boatwright's Dining Hall, the table service restaurant there.

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort is more spread out, but offers more bus stops because of this. The feel is more relaxed and quiet to achieve the peaceful southern charm of the place. The buildings are a little more subdued in their theming, but the rooms are very similar in size and arrangement to those at French Quarter. I feel that there is a lot more walking to and from different locations at this resort, so this might be a deciding factor for some guests.

Either way you go, you will not be disappointed. Have a magical trip.
