If you were going to choose, which park would you take advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours -- Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom?

    Hey Crystal-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. This is an easy call for my family and it will depend on your desires. If you want thrills, fun and magic then the Magic Kingdom Park is your answer. If you want animals, Broadway-style shows and thrills then Disney’s Animal Kingdom is second to none.

Any extra time my family can get at the Magic Kingdom Park we take full advantage. An extra hour in the morning at the Magic Kingdom Park means fewer people and the ability to experience a few more attractions. Every minute counts as you rush through the town of Tumbleweed on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, soar over London in Peter Pan’s Flight, fight Pirates of the Caribbean, enjoy a delicious pineapple Dole Whip or hang out with the 999 happy haunts in the Haunted Mansion. I personally love going in the Magic Kingdom Park early to stroll down Main Street USA reading the names on the windows. These brilliant folks are the Imagineers who helped make Walt Disney’s Florida dream come true.

Morning Extra Magic Hours also offer you exclusivity to some of the best photo spots in the Kingdom. Get great pictures of Cinderella Castle and other locations without a crowd of people behind you. Grab a GUIDEMAP when you enter the theme park and look for the Disney PhotoPass Photographer and Nikon Picture Spot icons for those magical locations.

My only reason to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom during Early Extra Magic Hours is to see the animals at their most alert during the Kilimanjaro Safari. However, we have yet to miss animals on this attraction no matter when when have left the Harambe Village.

The good news is that no matter which one you choose, surprises and adventure are waiting for you.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
