Hi! If I had to choose one romantic dinner for my wife and I during the Christmas holiday season, where would that be? We have a deluxe dining plan and are staying at the Wilderness Lodge the second week in December.

    Hi Bill,

Keeping in mind the deluxe dining plan, my first immediate thought was Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge, especially over the holidays. Another stunning restaurant with its spectacular views is the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Resort; you can have the added bonus of watching the fireworks, too. Also nearby at the Grand Floridian (beautiful at Christmas, too) is Narcoossee's and Citricos, but I personally find Narcoossee's to not be as romantic since it is a louder restaurant, but it does have lovely views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the fireworks.

If you don't mind going a bit farther away, another favorite restaurant of ours (it was our runner-up choice for our 20th anniversary this summer) is Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (more amazing holiday decorations).

I've included links to the restaurants so you can explore the decor and menus to see which you would like the most. I'd also encourage you to make your reservations soon by calling 407-WDW-DINE or by taking advantage of the online reservation system available through each of the above links since the window to make reservations is currently open.

Please let us know if we can help again.  Wishing you a magical trip and lovely dinner!
