    If you had to choose from the Moderate Resorts for you vacation, which includes you, husband and two kids (age 10 & 6), which one would you choose? I'm sure we want Moderate but can't decide which one. Great site

    Hi Sandy,

    I am a big fan of the Caribbean Beach Resort for families with children your ages.     I recently had an opportunity to tour this wonderful property, and saw the newly refurbished "Pirate" and "Nemo" rooms.  I was very impressed.  The pirate rooms are amazing, with pirate ship beds, rugs that resemble wooden planks, bedspreads covered in "loot and treasure" and furniture that looks like it belongs on a boat!  The Nemo rooms make you feel as though you are under the sea with Nemo and his pals.

    Caribbean beach is a great choice if you plan to spend a lot of time swimming, as the resort has many pools, including one, truly amazing "Pirate Pool" that includes kid-sized slides, water canons and waterfalls, that I'm guessing your little pirate will love!  The grounds of the resort are magnificent, and surround a 45-acre bay.  I also love the table service restaurant at the resort, Shutters, which features Caribbean-inspired food prepared in an open kitchen, as well as the quick service options on the property.

    If Caribbean Beach doesn't strike your fancy, my next pick would be Coronado Springs, where I had an opportunity to stay this past December, in an absolutely lovely refurbished room with dark wood furniture and super comfy bedspreads!  This resort also surrounds a gorgeous lake, and is themed in rich, Southwest designs.  The Pepper Market, located on property is my favorite quick service restaurant!

    Whatever you chose, have a wonderful trip!
