If you had to choose between last week in July or last week in August 2011? Family is 5, two adults, 3,13,16. Also any suggestions for what dining plan? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Christine! I'd go last week of August. The parks will be much less crowded compared to the last week in July. Check out the TouringPlans.com crowd calendar to see what I'm talkin' about, Willis.

You'll also have more vacation offer / discounts to work with in late August compared to late July. Not many discount incentives are offered during the middle of summer. For example, right now, you can get your resort room up to 40% off if you're going the last month of August. Pretty sweet, right?

You could then choose to add the dining plan, especially considering how much you'd be saving per night on the room cost alone. If your teenagers are big eaters, it makes sense to consider the dining plan. If they're not big eaters or you don't plan to do that many sit down dinners, it's usually more cost effective to pay out of pocket.
