Should I choose Jersey week (11/3-11/9/12) or Mardi Gras 2012 (2/9 - 2/15/13). POFQ is resort of choice. Which week for lower crowds? Hoping for specials too but those won't be posted for a while. Need to decide ASAP to book dining if we choose 11/12.

    Hi Jennifer,

I recently moved from New Jersey to Central Florida and we almost always visited the parks during "Jersey week," a week when New Jersey kids have off for part of the week, and many parents pull them out for the balance to make for a week-long vacation.  It's always been modestly crowded, but no where near peak summer and spring break times of year.  Early February is a lower-crowd time in my experience, so if you are looking for crowds levels, I'd say go for February.  President's Day falls on the 18th this year, so you should not encounter "mid-winter break" crowds.  I will say that November tends to boast warmer weather.  February can have some cold days, with lows in the 40s, so if that's a concern, you might consider November.  Either is a good choice in my opinion, so whichever you chose, have a wonderful time!
