How should I choose the hotel in Disneyworld? How can I plan the trip in DNW?

How ya doin' Minthira and welcome to planDisney!

Choosing a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can be a bit of a challenge for newcomers. With so many great spots to call your home away from home, it's hard to settle on a location. Allow me to walk you through some important steps on how to choose the best resort for your family.

    1. Budget. Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer 3 tiers of resorts that cover a wide range of finances: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Every single one has its own special magic and that excellent hospitality that will keep you coming back year after year.

    2. Theme. Each hotel has a special theme that makes you the main character in your own story. Relax by the sea at Disney's Beach Club Resort or adventure through the savannas of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Wherever you choose the magic will be waiting there to welcome you home.

Now as for how to plan, I've found that the Build Your Vacation tool on the Walt Disney World homepage is the easiest way to plan my vacations. You can customize your Theme Park Tickets and everything right there. When booking your Disney Vacation Package, be sure to play around with the Build Your Vacation tool on the Walt Disney World homepage. You can leave the part about the hotel set to All Resort Hotels to get some different rates and decide which works best for you.

Pro-tip: You'll absolutely also want to create a My Disney Experience account and download the app that goes with it to your mobile device. It's a great way to keep all of your plans in order in one location and utilize Disney Genie Service for even more organized Disney days.

Pro, PRO-tip: Once you've booked your Theme Park Tickets, immediately make your Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System. You'll need those in addition to tickets to enter the Disney Parks.

Minthira, I hope I've been able to give you some helpful tips on how to plan a magical stay. If you have any other questions, please come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
