Test Track at Epcot

If you choose only 1 FP vs 3, can you get another FP for same ride once you use your FP? It appears that at Epcot if you choose 3 FPS, you must choose morning, afternoon, evening and use FPS into the evening before getting 4th FP?

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

The way that advanced FastPass+ selections work is that, as you know, you can make up to 3 selections in a single Theme Park, per day of admission associated with your Theme Park Ticket. There is nothing stopping you from only making one selection in advance, but your second selection can’t be that same attraction once again. You’ll need to choose another attraction in that same park or make your second selection at another Theme Park that you plan to visit, but that selection can only be made on the day of your visit. Plus, if you’re visiting a park other than Magic Kingdom Park, if your selection was in the “Tier 1” attractions list, you can’t make another selection in that tier until you’ve made and used two of the second tier FastPass+ selections, even if you didn’t make those other two selections in advance.

For example, if you made a single FastPass+ selection for Epcot at, say, Test Track, you can’t make another selection that same day for either Test Track or for, say, Frozen Ever After or Soarin' Around the World, until you use up your two “Tier 2” attractions (example: Spaceship Earth or The Seas with Nemo & Friends). You could, however, make a same-day selection for one of the Toy Story Land attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios, availability permitting.

Based on my experience, you shouldn’t have to make your 3 FastPass+ selections at Epcot at different times of day, availability permitting. If the system is forcing you to do so for some unknown reason, don’t forget that you can always modify your return times by editing your FastPass+ selections after they’ve been made. If you make sure that all 3 of your selections take place earlier in the day, you’ll likely have more availability for that 4th FastPass+ selection once you can make it.

I hope my answer helps you better plan your family’s Disney Day during your upcoming vacation. If I misunderstood your question or you need any other planning help, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. Planning is what we do best!

    Have a Magical Day,
