Hi Michelle! Our family loves the convenience and value of the
Dining Plan
when we visit Walt Disney World. Once you get the gist of how to use it
you'll love it too.
Here's a quick Dining 101 to help you navigate your upcoming visit...
Your dining credits are only allotted to those on your dining plan or
reservation who they are assigned to. Since a child under 3 years old does
not have a dining plan, you would not be able to use an entitlement at a
table service restaurant. You can however use an additional entitlement
at a counter service location because they can be used however you choose.
At a table service restaurant, the simplest
solution would be ordering a child's meal out of pocket or having them
share from your plate.
The best option is to choose buffet style
restaurants because children under 3 years old can eat and drink for
free! That's what we always did before our little ones turned the big 3! Some of our family
favorites are
Chef Mickey's at Disney's at the Contemporary
Resort and
'OHana's at Disney's Polynesian Resort. 'OHana serves a family style character meal in the morning, and a Polynesian family style
dinner.
Boma Flavors of Africa at Animal Kingdom lodge offers a tasty variety with some classics. Be sure to visit
The Crystal Palace
at Magic Kingdom Park which is a buffet with Pooh and friends. Crystal
Palace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner so anytime is a great time to
visit!
I hope your trip is magical and memorable!
