If you have to choose from AK or Wilderness Lodge, traveling with a baby of 2 years old, which one do you choose? having in mind: distance to parks (she still takes naps), food, activities. Standard room WL, or pool view AKL? Help me!

    Hi there Laura,

In your situation I would hands down choose Wilderness Lodge as Animal Kingdom is a bit out of the way...especially if you want easy access to your room for naps and breaks!

Wilderness Lodge is located a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom which is the park that I feel your little one will enjoy the most at her age!  There are several family friendly dining options at Wilderness Lodge in addition to a conveniently located pool area, marina, and children's play area.

Other Disney theme parks and points of interest are located just a short bus ride away, so you're very ideally located at Wilderness Lodge.  I also like the fact that WIlderness Lodge is smaller and more compact.  Everything is right there...  You'll definitely do more walking Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Now on to the atmosphere... Wilderness Lodge is just soooo relaxing.  I just love the lodge inspired lobby with its HUGE stone fireplace and rocking chairs.  I truly feel so at home here each and every time I visit.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
