There are just too many choices for dining, and I want to do them all. Cant decide between Rainforest or TRex, and Whis. Canyons or Ohana (dinner). What would you suggest? 2 yo dd and 4 yo ds. Thanks!!! You guys rock!

So much food, so little time!  Here are some thoughts to help you make your decision:

    Ohana vs. Whispering Canyons Cafe
My vote would be for Ohana.  It offers a wonderful, all-you-care-to-eat Polynesian meal.  There are also some typical children's options.   Your server will bring out out delicious skewered meats that you can dip in a variety of yummy sauces, shrimp, salad, noodles and the best bread ever!  Your kids will be entertained by a Polynesian singer, who leads the crowd in a series of games, including our all time favorite - "sweeping" coconuts on the floor around the restaurant.  We've eaten here several times, and my kids consistently list it as one of their absolute favorites.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is another great family-style meal that features meatloaf, steak, roasted chicken and ribs.  During your meal, the servers love to engage in some good-spirited "fun" (i.e., slapstick that involves making fun of guests!)  It's a hoot, but with super young children, some of the humor might be lost.

    TRex vs. Rainforest Cafe
I would let your kids' preferences for dinos versus rainforest wildlife help you decide.  The same company owns both very well-themed restaurants,so the menus are quite similar.  My one word of caution with TRex is that your youngest might be a bit overwhelmed by the large dinos "roaring" throughout your meal.  I did see a few tots upset the last time I ate there.  My 4 and 6 year old boys however, were in Jurassic heaven.

Rainforest Cafe is filled with fish tanks, tropical theming and jungle-loving animals.  During your meal, the weather even changes as the rainforest has a thunderstorm.  Their signature dessert, the volcano is comprised of heaps of ice cream and brownies and is enough for everyone to share.

    Whichever you chose, bon appetit!
