Hi Mom's. If you had a choice from going to WDW during Mickey's Halloween Party or early Nov during Mickey's Christmas Party which would you choose & why? I have never been to either one. Will be with husband,3 yo daughter & 15 yo daughter. We can't

    Hi Melissa!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking such a great question.  This one is a tough one!  Both of these events are incredible and I truly love each of them, so I feel a bit like I am trying to choose which of my kids is my favorite, but here it goes.

I would choose Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party if I had to choose.  While Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is extremely magical and there really is no equivalent to sitting on Main Street, U.S.A., watching snow fall and snacking on cookies and hot cocoa, there are just so many things I love about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade is amazing and the HalloWishes fireworks show is beyond phenomenal. (Easily my favorite fireworks show!) Beyond the wonderful entertainment, the ability to meet some "rare" characters and the fun of seeing your favorite friends dressed in their Halloween costumes, we also love being able to dress up as a family.  In Colorado, our Octobers are usually pretty chilly, so it's marvelous to be able to dress up in our favorite costumes (minus all the layers) and wander through the magic (an activity usually limited only to children.)  This also ensures we have some extra fun Disney PhotoPass photos.

I hope I have been able to help you decide which event to attend.  If there is anything else I can assist you with, or if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Have a wonderful trip and enjoy whichever Special Event you choose.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
