I have the choice of visiting DW either Sept 24-29 or Nov 5-10, 2012. Our familys 1st visit.I have 7,2 & 1 yr old. What's your opinions on weather and crowds during those times. Also debating between Contemporary and AOA. Depending on which week we dec

    Hi Jen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Between September and November, I would pick November.  Both are great times to visit and the crowds should be low for each, but the weather will be cooler in November.  Walt Disney World can still be relatively hot and humid in September, and even in October!  Also, holiday decorations will go up in early November and that makes visiting Walt Disney World then special.

The Contemporary is a Disney Deluxe Resort while the Art of Animation Resort is a Disney Value.  There is no comparison in terms of services and amenities.  The Contemporary is a spectacular resort located on the Magic Kingdom monorail line, giving you quick and easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center, to Epcot.  That will make it easy to return to your hotel room for an afternoon nap or just a break from the theme parks.  If your budget allows, I would definitely stay at the Contemporary.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
