Do we have a choice in if we want a magic band? My husband hates things on his wrist and my daughter fiddles with anything on her person. Can we get the same service with a card?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Rebecca!

You do not have to get a MagicBand. For those Guests who do not want a MagicBand, you can choose a card instead and you will receive the same benefits with the card.

Keep in mind that Guests won't be required to wear MagicBands on their wrists.  You could snap them on the handle of your purse, belt or other items. You can also hold onto them for your husband and daughter if you wish.  Just make sure you keep them in a safe place. While your husband and daughter may not want to wear them on their wrists, they may enjoy having one to keep as a souvenEAR.

Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding MagicBands that you may find helpful.
