Where can we see the chocolate merry go round? We know about the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. Any other things we need to see? Thanks!

    Welcome, Jeanie!

When celebrating the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, you will discover a sleigh full of festive experiences throughout the property. The Parks and Resort hotels will be beautifully decorated with the most amazing Disney-themed holiday ornaments.

Indeed, you simply cannot miss the incredible two-story high Gingerbread House on display in the middle of the lobby at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! This year marks the 20th anniversary of this life-size holiday house made with 1050 pounds of honey, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 700 pounds of chocolate, 800 pounds of flower, tons of creativity, Disney magic and pixie dust!

The life-size edible spinning carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort is celebrating its 19-year anniversary. For 2018, the 4 horses on the merry-go-round are named Daisy, Donald, Harper and Merra. Pastry chefs used 150 pounds of icing, 50 pounds of dark chocolate and 36 pounds of honey. Also, 100 pounds of confectioner sugar and 96 pounds of bread flour went into constructing the massive candy structure.

The sugar rock holiday village with train set at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and the astonishingly tall trees at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, are some of my personal favorites too!

To view the stunning holiday decorations, I suggest starting with the hotels on the Resort Monorail loop. These include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Afterward, visit Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This hotel is only a short water taxi ride away from Magic Kingdom Park. Next, I recommend the Epcot Resorts: Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Finally, if time permits, visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Happy holidays at Walt Disney World Resort!
