Hello, Patrick!
It's great to meet you, thanks for swimming over to planDisney! The
Disneyland Resort Hotels have wonderful pools, and some even feature waterslides and splash pads! Let's get you ready to "Just Keep Swimming" during your stay.
I always love a little bit of science in my day, so I teamed up with Cast Member Brianna to research your question. It took a little searching, but we discovered that the chlorine levels of the pools at the Disneyland Resort Hotels are all kept between 2.7 and 3.1 parts per million (ppm) and are routinely monitored. Safe chlorine levels in pools are generally accepted to be anywhere from 1 ppm to 4 ppm, so the resort pools are kept right within that range. I can also share that my personal experience has been that my kids, even without goggles, have never experienced any irritation from the water at the Disneyland Resort Hotel pools. The only problem we ever have at the pools is convincing my kids that it's time to get out!
Choosing a Disneyland Resort Hotel can be tough! Each one of them has unique decor, amenities, and their own special brand of magic, including unique pool areas. If you haven't settled on a specific hotel yet, you might want to take a look at each of their swimming options:
Patrick, whichever hotel you choose I hope you'll soon find yourself enjoying the relaxing vibe of the Disneyland Resort! If you have any other questions
I'd be happy to swim on over and help you out. See you later, dude!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
