Does Chip n Dale' campfire singalong run on October 31st? Just wondering if we can attend that and trick or treat in the same night!

Hi Dale! Halloween is one of the biggest events in the Fort Wilderness Resort. Reservations for a campsite are often booked out a year in advance. It is a time my husband and I enjoy and come every fall to decorate our site. Some guests do amazing things and it is so much fun to just go through the loops to see the holiday festivities.

The Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong is one of the nightly activities in Fort Wilderness that draws many guests from across the property. The live singer and of course the personal visits by Chip and Dale make this fun. Add to that the roasting of marshmallows over an open fire and it is unlike anything else at Disney. It is almost a year to year decision whether this activity is done on Halloween. Two years ago they did and last year they did not. The resort is extremely crowded that night and I think they were hoping to keep the crowds as safe as possible with so many guests out trick or treating. It is impossible to know what decision will be made for 2017.

Fort Wilderness is one of the only resorts that has true trick or treating on Halloween. Last year I gave out over 1000 treats and it was crazy in a good sense. I always love to see the kids dressed in cute costumes. If you are considering coming please remember that outside car traffic is completely closed even if you are a guest at another Disney resort. They just don't have room so if you don't have a dining reservation you will have to find another way to come in. Once you are there you will need to be aware that although there are sidewalks throughout the resort the loops are dark and personal autos are still coming and going. Bring flashlights and keep the kids close which is hard when the excitement takes over. Have a great Halloween!
