Chip n Dale camp fire singalong at Fort Wilderness--does that happen every night at same time or is there a schedule somewhere? Available in Jan or too cold? What is easiest way to get there from AOA/will have car if needed.

    Hi Vicki!

Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long is one of my favorite (free!) activities to do at Walt Disney World!  And I absolutely love Fort Wilderness.  The campfire is held every night (weather permitting).  It starts around 7pm during the fall and winter and 8pm during spring and summer.  It follows daylight savings time.  It is most definitely not too cold in January to enjoy this outdoor activity!  I actually prefer it to be chilly out, so I can enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate with my 's'mores.  This is a great site to learn more about the sing-a-long: http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/activity-campfire.php

The best way to get there is by car, but that is not the only way.  If you are traveling by Disney transportation, you can take a bus from the Art of Animation resort to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a ferry boat that will take you right to Fort Wilderness.  From the marina, you will need to take an internal resort bus to the Meadows Trading Post where the campfire is held.  You can also take a bus from Downtown Disney or any of the other parks if you happen to be coming from there.

If you are driving, you will park your car in the front parking lot and then grab an internal resort bus to the Meadows Trading Post.  Enjoy!

    Have a magical day!
