Ahoy there, Natalie, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you’ll be sailing with a teenager soon! As the mom of a 19 and 20-year-old, I’ve done my fair share of cruising with teens, so I’m excited to be the one helping you today.
On the
Disney Fantasy, Guests 13 to 17 years of age may be accommodated for services/treatments if a parent or guardian books it and accompanies them for the duration of the appointment. From what I learned, there is not a separate Chill Spa any longer, unfortunately; all services take place in
Senses Spa & Salon now. You may even want to look into booking a
Rainforest Day Pass to enjoy amenities like the hot tub, sauna, and aromatherapy steam rooms.
Depending on the age of your teenagers, they also have a couple of options available for how to have fun and meet other kids their age onboard. Tweens and teens ages 11-14 can hang out in
Edge. In addition to video games, karaoke, and other interactive activities, Edge Counselors facilitate everything from dance parties to scavenger hunts. On the Disney Fantasy, you’ll find Edge inside the
Forward Funnel on Deck 13.
But my kids tell me the real fun happened for them when they were finally old enough to go to
Vibe. Not only did they feel more mature, they told me the space was so cool, especially on the Disney Fantasy. They even have their own sundeck! Once registered, Guests 14-17 can access the space with their Key to the World Card or DisneyBand+, making it feel even more exclusive.
Of course, the beauty of a Disney Cruise is that no matter what activities our family decides to do separately during the day, we always come back together for dinner to share our adventures. These days, I usually can only get my kids to participate in one matching outfit day with me, but it still makes my heart happy to know that they’d rather be on a Disney Cruise than anywhere else.
I hope this helps you and your teens get even more excited about your upcoming trip. If you (or they) have any other questions that arise, please don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
