Welcome to planDisney Andrea Paula!
I think if you asked every person on the planDisney panel which park to take a toddler to, you would definitely find "Magic Kingdom" to win by a landslide! You just can't beat the magic of walking down Main Street U.S.A., the excitement of the
Festival of Fantasy Parade, and all the family friendly attractions.
So what if you asked the panel about a second park? This would probably be a pretty split decision! My vote for a second park would be EPCOT. I think the little ones love
Frozen Ever After and The Seas with Nemo and Friends. The newest family friendly attraction,
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, is fun for everyone in your travel party! Read through
height requirements for attractions at all theme parks.
This is not to discourage Disney's Animal Kingdom! Toddlers enjoy roaming Pandora and the
Na'vi River Journey, as well as digging in
The Boneyard in DinoLand USA. The choice will be up to you! Whatever parks you choose, feel free to participate in
Rider Switch if you want to ride a grown-up ride. One person watches your little one while another guest enjoys an attraction. Then switch! Speak with a Cast Member at before entering a queue for details.
If you are looking to save time in line, check out
Genie+ and Lightning Lane. With this paid service, you can zoom through the Lightning Lane, bypassing the stand-by line. It can really shorten your wait times. Genie+ can be purchased the day of your visit on the
My Disney Experience app.
The icing on the cake for your magical vacation will be a few wonderful Table Service meals whether in the parks or at the resort hotels. Make your
Dining Reservations ahead of time as many locations will be fully booked and will not accept walk-ups. A credit card is needed to hold a reservation. Cancel at least 24 hours prior to avoid any cancelation fees.
Wishing you and your travel pals a magical visit to Walt Disney World!
