How much would a childs annual pass be? They have discounted tickets, do they have discounted annual passes too?

    Hi Nicole,

Always a pleasure to welcome a fellow Floridian to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm happy to help you with your question about Florida resident annual passes.

You are correct that children ages 3 through 9 usually receive a discount on tickets that are purchased by the day or for multiple days. Normally, that discount is a few dollars per day. However, generally, annual passes do not offer a different rate for children. (Please note that pricing varies based on a number of factors and is subject to change.)

An annual pass already gives you significant savings over the rate you would pay for a single- or multi-day ticket. For Florida residents, that savings is even greater. We've been passholders for more than 20 years and are fortunate to live about an hour away, so we spend 30 or more days a year at the Walt Disney World theme parks with our passes. That works out for us to a few dollars per day for admission.

As a Florida resident, you also have the opportunity to spread the cost of your annual passes over the year, interest-free, after a deposit. Plus, your pass gives you access to a wide variety of benefits and discounts on dining, resorts, shopping and more. And you get free standard parking at the theme parks.

Thanks for your question, Nicole. Please check back with us if you have more questions about being a Walt Disney World passholder or about planning your year of Walt Disney World fun. Or, if you want to speak with a Cast Member, there's a special passholder phone number: (407) 560-7277.

Wishing you a year of magic!
