Hi, Maria! Thank you for pointing your compass to planDisney. I’m happy to help!
I’m glad you stopped by for clarification since you are sailing soon. The passport requirements vary depending on the destination. Since I’m not sure what ship you are on or what the itinerary is, I recommend visiting the
Travel Documentation section on the Disney Cruise Line website. Navigate to the Already Booked tab and scroll down to the Before You Go section, where you'll find the Travel Documentation link. Bahamian and Caribbean cruises don’t require passports with six months' validity; however, other destinations like Europe do.
You can also
reach out to Disney Cruise Line and speak with an agent. They are knowledgeable and always willing to help. Remember to keep your citizenship documents handy in your carry-on bag. They'll be scanned one last time before you enter the terminal for boarding.
As you step aboard, be sure to have your camera ready to capture the magical welcome by the cheering crew members. I love seeing my son’s eyes light up during this special moment – it's truly unforgettable! After embarking, kick off your vacation with a delightful lunch, pop by the youth clubs during Open House, splash in the pool, test your Disney knowledge during trivia, or explore your ship; the possibilities are endless!
Have a safe trip, and soak in all the magic along the way!
SEAS the adventure!
