Do they still do children's fingerprinting and photo for security within Disneyland park?

    Hiya, Marcella!

Thanks for coming by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help you get ready for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

The first time a guest uses a ticket for entrance to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, the Cast Member at the turnstile will take a photograph of the ticket holder, including children aged three and up. This is a quick and convenient resource to enable guests to verify their identity when exiting and re-entering the park. At Walt Disney World in Florida, electronic fingerprints are used instead of photographs for the same purpose.

Some parents also choose to photograph their children with their own devices each day. Should you and your child become separated, you can use this photograph as a reference when requesting assistance from Cast Members. Note that the Cast Members will escort lost children to the nearest Baby Care Center. By the way, those awesome centers may be very useful. You’ll find changing stations, petite porcelain potties, and quiet places for feeding, making the Baby Care Centers excellent resources for parents and their children.
The Disneyland Resort is a great place for children, young and old. With exciting attractions, delicious dining, and unforgettable entertainment, you’ll find something for everyone.

    Have a magical time, Marcella!
