Greetings Space Ranger!
Get ready to blast off to infinity and beyond! Your Walt Disney World adventure is just a couple of months away. I can't wait for you to experience the excitement of the
50th-anniversary celebration. From new attractions to out-of-this-world dining to dazzling nighttime spectaculars, there's magic around every corner.
Space 220 Restaurant is a star-studded immersive culinary addition to EPCOT's dining lineup.
The menu here is prix fixe for both lunch and dinner. Astronauts will select an appetizer (Lift Offs), entree (Star Course), and dessert (Super Nova Sweet) to round out their meal. The children's menu is only available to junior space rangers under the age of 10. Older explorers will need to make selections from the adult menu.
If the full menu doesn't appeal to everyone in your group, consider foregoing a reservation here and attempting to join the waitlist for the restaurant's lounge. This section is first-come, first-serve and offers lounge snacks and sips rather than a prix fixe menu. Because of its popularity, I recommend stopping by early in the day for your best shot at landing a spot on the waitlist.
I hope this is helpful, Carla! In addition to Space 220 Restaurant, you'll find several other new dining experiences in Walt Disney World that opened just in time for the
50th-anniversary celebration. Check out
Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
La Creperie de Paris near
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in
EPCOT. My panelist pals and I love to talk about Disney food, so if there's anything else we can help with as you get ready to make dining reservations, don't hesitate to reach out again. Thanks for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
