Welcome Kim!
It looks like you’ve cruised with Captain Mickey before, so you are fully aware of all the fun that comes with cruising onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship! Maybe you are embarking on a new ship or one that has recently been reimagined…but no matter what, it will be another unforgettable vacation for you and your family!
The onboard
Youth Clubs are wonderful – for both kids and parents! My young boys love going to the Oceaneer Club and Lab for all the fun and exciting activities for them to do! On port days, the Youth Clubs are open for children to be securely checked into where they can remain onboard while the adults head off ship. It is important to notify the Youth Counselors that you will be heading off and will not be reachable via the onboard wave phones or
Navigator app’s chat system. It would also be a good idea to let your children know so that they are aware that they are unable to leave the secured area during that time. Lunch will be served during lunchtime, but if you have any food or dietary restrictions, it is important to ensure that your kiddos have a meal arranged for them. I can guarantee that the ones left onboard will undoubtedly have a great time as many times the Youth Clubs are a little less busy on port days and the Counselors will ensure that they enjoy their time in there.
As you have seen in your resEARch,
Port Adventures offers a variety of wonderful excursions for you to participate in during your time at port leaving you to just show up and enjoy!
Wishing you a magical adventure at sea with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
