my children are 2 & 4 years old. Planning 3rd visit this spring. last year we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. It was perfect lots of water play & playgrounds, carriage rides around the grounds and boat trips to Downtown Disney. Any NEW ideas ??

    Hello Jennifer.
I'm so thrilled to know that you and your lovely family are returning once again to the very beautiful Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside later this Spring.  You are right, it is indeed the perfect vacation spot for plenty of family friendly activities and fun.
Besides the 7 splashtastic swimming pools, children's playgrounds and horse drawn carriage rides there are still plenty of other things to discover.....
    - How about water craft rental?  You can hire pedal boats, canoes, Sea Raycers or possibly captain one of the larger Boston Whalers or pontoon boats for some swashbuckling fun.
    - Hire bicycles and explore the Resort via pedal power.
    - Take a gentle stroll around the Resort's very pretty gardens.
    -  and don't forget that Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside can also use the swimming pool in the French Quarter.
Please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another Walt Disney World Resort planning question, I'm always glad to help.
    Have a great Disney day.
