Hi there, Holly! It sounds like a little Mouseketeer will soon be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!
You are correct, Guests who are two years old and younger do not need a theme park admission ticket for any of the four Disney World theme parks – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom! I hope your little Disney prince can take full advantage of the
magic that awaits little ones at Disney World!
While I have never been asked the ages of my children at a theme park entrance, Cast Members do have a responsibility to ask Guests for the ages of their children if there is a question about age. It will most likely be unnecessary, but if you’re worried that you might be asked about age (perhaps you have a taller two-year-old), having a photo of your child’s birth certificate on your phone might be a good idea. That way, you know you’re prepared should the question arise.
If your little boy will be celebrating his third birthday while visiting Mickey and Minnie, he will need valid theme park admission for any theme parks your family will be visiting after he turns three.
Holly, when my sons were little guys, they loved the Disney Water Parks – Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! We had so much fun in the kiddie areas of the water parks, the lazy river, and the pools! And, if you happen to be visiting this summer, from May 26 through September 8, Guests have
complimentary (yes, free!) admission to the water parks on their check-in day! That’s a great perk for Guests to enjoy!
Dreams do come true!
